Orange Chevrons

Hello guys,
Wow I've not posted in ages, so sorry I have been meeega busy!

I recently brought OPI 'A Roll in the Hauge' on holiday and was dieing to try it out, so I decided to try something a little bit diffrerent but very simple. Well I say simple but infact it took a little longer than I expected.
I've seen this Chevron design on many different blogs so I thought, what the heck i'll give it a go!

The orange was beautifully bright, I just couldn't stop looking at my nails.
Jeez did this orange stain my fingers, it took lots of hot soapy water to get it off. Sorry about the lousy clean up..it was late.
Yes I do my nails before bed, as I have a 3 year old little sister that likes to help me, so its better for everyone if I do it whilst shes asleep!

Heres a picture of my whole left hand. Okay its not perfect but I was really pleased with the outcome. Even though my lines weren't as crisp as I hoped, I kind of liked the imperfect look. (Look at that gorgeous staining on my little finger even after a shower!)
And just for kicks here's a picture of my right hand. I did a pretty good job with my less dominant hand, very proud!! ^_^

I used two coats of OPI A Roll in the Hauge and used Barry M Black with a small nail art brush for the chevrons.

Byyes! :D

Layla Holographics

Hey guys, well as we are FINALLY getting  a summer in Britain I thought I'd try out my Layla holographic - Flash Black. If you love mesmerising nail polish and rainbows, then this is the polish for you. I honestly can't stop looking at them!
Check out these babies!

These photos just don't do it justice....
They were both taken in direct sunlight, but I stupidly forgot to take some pics inside.
Inside it is allot duller but there is some glimpse of rainbows. I do recommend using this tip I found from multiple other blog's - SANDWICH! Apply two coats then a top coat, then another coat of Flash Black then a top coat, and so on until you have the desired look. Please don't apply a top coat to the final layer as it will dull the polish and rainbows won't make you smile. :(
I got it from Simply Occasions for £11.25. I also got Mercury Twilight as at the time if you spent over £21 you got free postage (which would have been £2.50, it would be rude not to right?).
